It has been a while

Nothing much has changed in our household of late. But last night I meet with Jessi, Marie, and Becky we had our first meeting to get started on planning our 10 year class reunion! When Marie emailed me and asked me to meet, I was like WOW 10 years, I can't believe it. Planning our 10 year reunion really doesn't make me feel old but I cannot believe that we have been out of high school, 9 years we are making plans for next year. We are getting started a little early but better early than late. To be honest we did not get much planning done we had to all catch up first, and that took 2 hours.

It made me think how fast time has gone by after high school, and how much has happened in the last nine years. I left for SIUC scared to death to be 4 hours away from home, and not knowing anyone. 1 year later I was having the time of my life in college meeting lots of new people and one in particular my future husband Matt. 3 years later I'm graduated college, starting a new job, buying a house, and getting married all that the same time. 3 years later Matt and I make a decision to move up to Washburn to so I can work under my Dad. We both quit our jobs, which by the way 3 years previous we thought we would retire at those jobs, and started over at new ones. Another year goes by and we are buying our second home and working on it. Another year goes by and Matt is working for a different firm STS/AECOM and I am partial owner of a firm with my Dad and Kristy. That seems like a lot in 9 years, but I guess that pretty much par for the course these days.

Another year older, just hope she got wiser. HaHa
